It faded quickly and lost its vibrancy soon after I bought it, despite paying $298 for it. Though thick, the jute texture is very uncomfortable to sit on with bare skin--extremely fibery and rough. The texture and fade makes the rug look dingy to me. These pictures were taken July 2020 and the rug was bought in March of 2019. It shed a lot at first but no longer. I dislike the rug enough to order a new one in its place. This time I will order a wool rug, as I have learned my lesson.

I wasn't sure what to expect with "natural fibers". It is an interesting cross between the traditional woven jute rug and piled carpet. I added a picture that shows more of the pile. The color and pattern are true to the pictures.

Colors are wonderful! Lays nicely.
