Francene Solid Wood Accent Trunk

Overall this trunk is well made. However, mine had a crooked latch. It also has black paint in places it shouldn’t be. The picture made it look like all the black on the trunk was metal, however, it appears like some kind of tape that has been painted black.

Delivered on time and in perfect condition. The delivery person was very nice and polite.

I just love this trunk. I’ve been looking for one and I found it here. I just can’t tell you how beautiful this truck is. I’m using it as a coffee table. I’ve had so many compliments on it. Thank you Wayfair.

I’m still in the process of building this chest but wanted to send a preliminary review as I do. Will update once it’s built. I just attached pictures of the packaging because I feel like recently I’ve been getting items from company that are so poorly packed and this is solid. All of the pieces are sound and I cannot wait to see the end result! Update best item from Wayfair ever. Once I opened the package I found out the trunk was already assembled. It is SO nice

This trunk is spectacular! It arrived quickly with the best packaging possible. The woodgrain is outstanding, and the craftsmanship is superb. I wanted it to store quilts and comforters and was concerned it would not hold very many. That is not going to be an issue. This trunk is of substantial size and is a great storage piece. It has four holes drilled in the bottom corners for ventilation. It could easily serve as a coffee table or accent piece. I am thrilled with this trunk!

This storage trunk is gorgeous! It arrived quickly, fully assembled and securely well packaged. The trunk is made of solid wood with sturdy steel accents and latches. The interior is very roomy whereas most of the trunks I have researched have beams and much less interior room. It has a handsome distressed oak appearance. The handles on the sides are a nice designer touch. There are four holes pre-drilled into the bottom for child safety. Underneath the trunk there are soft rubber stoppers to protect my flooring in case it gets inadvertently dragged or pushed. The company that makes the trunk is called Coaster Fine Furniture, and is made in India. They did a great job in the construction, design and style of this furnishing. It is truly a solid, eye catching and must-have piece which coordinates well with any decor. Highly recommend!

Very nice trunk. Made of real wood and looks retro. No assembly required either. Will go great in any room with a more farmhouse or old home style. Eventually I think it will look great in the basement man cave.

OMG I love this piece. It comes fully put together and is very high end. It is a quality piece with beautiful detail. Large enough to be used for storage and still be a beautiful statement piece. I love the black pops on the trunk. It is heavy. You will need two people to unpack and move it. It also has locking mechanisms

Although pleased with the trunk I choose not to include any comments. However the Wayfair interface will not permit me to exist the Review page even though I have spent 10 minutes clicking Exist Review. So annoying.

Nice quality, heavy duty trunk. Didn’t give 5 stars because the latch is tricky on one side
