This was even better looking than I thought it would be. It looks beautiful. However, customers should know that there is no opening for a diverter hose from a downspout. And there are no instructions for setting up other than the spigots. It seems like it is designed to just sit anywhere and gather rain, which would take forever. Arrived in great condition, simple set up. Seems well made. You don't need to be extremely precise on gutter orientation. We have about a 24" gap from open down spout to the barrel opening. Before we had a chance to correct that it rained and it filled just fine. Ordering a second one to link together using a short length of flexible garden hose with female fittings on both ends. There are two round cut outs near the top at the back of the rain barrel and I assume that’s for venting air as the barrel fills as well as when water is dispensed. Or I suppose it could be for overflow There was no diagram of the rain barrel explaining all the nuances.
