This rug is beautiful. But beauty isnt everything. I read all of the reviews before buying this rug, and decided the good outweighed the bad. I purchased the rug, and it was a mistake. Like I said, the design of the rug is beautiful and was perfect for our living room. However, after having it for several weeks, Im finding that the negative reviews I read were true. My main disappointment is how much it sheds. It is absolutely horrible. I cant keep the floors clean. As soon as I sweepdust the hardwood, there is more shedding from the rug. It looks like long dog or cat hair. And its everywhere! It gets all over your clothes, blankets, everything. It doesnt matter how many times I vacuum it,it continues to shed. My last complaint is that the threading is already coming undone from walking on it. Im very careful with how I vacuum it, and theres no pulling afterward. Its after its been walked on that the threading starts lifting. The only way I would recommend this rug is if it is for a room that is never used. Then its possible you may not see these problems. I took a chance on this rug and wasted over 500, and now I have to spend more time and money to find something different.

Bought this 8x10 rug. I gave this rug a 4 because the colors are perfect in our living room. However, there a few drawbacks: 1) the seams show in areas probably because the wool loops are large. 2) The jute design is attractive but fragile. 3) You must use the floor setting when vacuuming because the beater brush setting will damage the large stitching. 4) The rug sheds (hopefully this is temporary).

It’s the perfect neutral rug for my bedroom. It is soft on your feet and the color is as expected.

Absolutely beautiful, much softer than I anticipated it was going to be. The tan accents are more of a wool fiber than jute, which I thought they were from the description given. The color is marbled and muted . . . a treasure.

The rug is nice but the jute pulls up easily and doesn’t wear as well as other carpets. Very nice quality and thickness.

Had plenty pulls, can’t vacuum will ruin it more. Wayfair only offered me 21 bc of disappointment!! Horrible. Too big for me to return on my own.

This is a beautifully made rug and the colors are perfect for my space. The cost was great!
