Mainville Oriental Indoor Rug

I selected the Mainville gray/blue area rug to use in my family room but it did not blend with the other rug I had in that room. In addition I found the main color more ivory than gray. When I examined the label on the underside of the rug it was labeled Bianca ivory/ocean rather than Mainville blue/gray. I assumed I had been shipped the wrong rug so I contacted Wayfair to exchange it. They responded that the rug shipped was correct. Hmmm The rug is large and attractive albeit not the colors I had expected. It has an intentional faded/worn look to give it a rather vintage appearance. It is a low pile and might need a rug pad to keep it in place. Since I was disappointed in the colors I have had it rolled up and sitting in the corner while I contemplated what to do with it. Recently I dragged it all over the house to see where it might work. I finally decided to try it in my dining room and I think this is where it will stay for now. As you can see in the pictures there are quite a few wrinkles but I’m hoping that the wrinkles in the rug will lay flat in time. Because there is a table and chairs sitting on top of this rug the colors are less noticeable.

I was looking for a lower pile rug that didn't shed and this fits the bill! The color combo is beautiful and I love the intended 'faded' effect in some spots. It vacuums well and is plenty soft underfoot. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful, well designed rug. So very comfortable on your feet, no sliding, slipping or curling of the edges. The colors are just outstanding and will go with whatever color you have in your room. What an awesome buy.

This is a beautiful rug. The colors are soft and muted. Grays, blues, and a soft rust. If your looking for a soft colored with several colors, this works. I plan on replacing a rig in my family room with this. The rug is not super thick and will probably need a rug pad under it if you put it on wood or tile floors.

Shipped fast!! Unrolled well no need for weights!! It doesn’t have rubber grips but it’s not sliding on my tiles much either. The blues are pretty and they stand out. Not modern though- definitely traditional rug.
