Luan Metal Open-Frame Bed

The bed is beautiful. Easy to put together it has only been a week but my daughter loves it. Also YOU’LL NEED A BOXSPRING the mattress sinks without one as there are only 3 support rails.(photo is without the base)

Update: With one person sleeping in it for about 6 months this frame was falling apart. I hired someone to try to fix it and about 6 months later it needs to be replaced. This bed was a total waste of time and money. Previous review: Overall this is a decent bed frame. Feels sturdy, very pretty, squeaks a little... though there is a quality issue with the paint or coating on the Antique Gold product. I had a pillow leaning against the headboard for a couple weeks, no weight against it or hard rubbing, and when I picked up the pillow it had a green corrosion stain on it in the pattern of the headboard. The gold color had rubbed off the headboard so portions of it are now black. I contacted Wayfair about this, they told me to contact the manufacturer Safavieh. I contacted Safavieh and they sent me a form email flatly denying any "replacement/replacement parts/refund/exchange" I could have asked for and told me to take it up with Wayfair. So now I have a defective bed frame that I'm too concerned to use my nice bedding on and two companies providing zero solutions. Take accountability for the products you make and sell.

This bed is so nice! It’s a perfect mix of glam and modern. Easy to put together.

This bed is absolutely gorgeous. It’s a statement piece and I’m so happy I splurged on it. Not only is it absolutely stunning but it was not difficult to put together and it is so sturdy. It is probably my favorite piece of furniture.

So easy to put together, people complain so much for no reason! Just get someone to help you and it’s a piece of cake. Beautiful color and I’m so happy with it.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new bed!!!!! My son assembled it for me. It’s nice and sturdy. It isn’t ‘flimsy’ which is great coz I’m NOT a skinny minny lol!! The mattress you see here is a 14”. I originally ordered a 7” foundation and was like OOPS! too tall so opted to send it back and get a .75” wood slatted bunkie-board instead. Dunno bout you, but didn’t want my mattress set WAY above the footboard. This is a queen. My mattress fits snugly so I will say that a thick comforter as mine is a bit more challenging but I don’t care coz I love it!! Look at that nice high headboard!! Just what I wanted...... thanks Wayfair!

Such a beautiful little bed for a little girl! I was really looking for the perfect metal bed to add some shine and whimsy to my daughter's bedroom. I really didn't want to go with the matching bed set. I was so excited to see this once it was assembled (not too tough per my husband), just the perfect amount of girly.

I had been looking at this bed for a couple of years and finally decided to pull the trigger. I absolutely love it! The assembly was relatively easy, just a bit tedious, it’s all Alan wrench screws, so that got old. but it’s just stunning. I bought the gold one, and am in love.

Ok let me start by saying that this bed is absolutely adorable! The design that it has its so unique and brings such a beautiful touch to your bedroom! I cant stop looking at it and I love it so much. It was very easy to assemble but it comes in a very long and heavy packaging so if you live in an apt building where you need to pick up packages from downstairs, be prepared! Now, the reason why I gave it a 4 star is because of the platform frame. You will need either a plank or another support underneath your mattress, as it cant go by itself. My mattress is already sinking as there is not much support under and the bed even though its sturdy it feels a little fragile. Other than that, this bed is every interior decorators dream!

This bed is gorgeous! You should use two people to assemble it - and if you have a hex drill bit, it will make it go a lot faster. I got a low-rise, four inch box spring to keep my mattress from sinking through the slats. I am counting off one star because of the fact that a small box spring was needed, and also - this bed is squeaky! Even when being tightened with a drill bit - so as tight as possible. It will make noise. I'm okay with it, but it could bother some people quite a bit.
