This carpet is perfect for the coastal room.

I personally like the colors and textures in the rug. I think it will hide the food stains and crumbs from my children, but I can see how food might collect food in it, as well. I have small children and dont think any rug will long in my house, so for the time being, its perfect. I did buy a 12 inch, water resistant pad because some of the reviews mentioned it was a thin rug. I think the extra padding is nice, but my husband thinks its too thick.

Beautiful rug but getting a 3 for not being durable. The braids come loose with traffic - wear. If this is in a low traffic area it will be fine. I didn’t realize it would have different heights due the braids. I thought it would be flatter.

I love this rug! The colors are beautiful and it feels like high quality. The pattern is raised so it’s not completely flat.
