Good size - Light wood color is true to the pictures (except for the picture where the light is on, which makes the wood look darker. There doesn't appear to be any type of glossy finish on the lamp - it's essentially bare wood (which works for me, but it may not work for others). Shade is good quality and neutral color, however, we will be replacing ours with a blue one to go with the room. Didn't love that I had to twist the electric wire over and over in order to screw the top into the base. Cord color is black; I wish they would have made the cord white, which would be more complementary to the light wood color. Also wish they had put a switch in the bulb housing instead of putting the switch in the electric cord; I have to buy an extension cord and remote control to keep our guests from having to reach down the side of the night stand to turn it off. Overall, we're satisfied with our purchase.

Cute and adds warmth to the room decor. Only wish it turned on with a knob instead of a roll switch on the cord.

I needed a table lamp by my reading chair but not too harsh or bright. This lamp does that for me, while also being somewhat simple in design. I really like that the wood has a natural finish to it as well. Definitely very pleased!

Introducing the cutest, most simple, unassuming little lamp. It feels very arts and craftsy but also classic. It casts a lovely glow and looks nice in any space -- living room, bedroom. It isn't a big statement lamp, it just does the job.

This lamp is great! Perfect size for small table top or kitchen counter. Solid wood base and cord with on off switch. Extra long cord. Shade is good quality and perfect size for the lamp base. I was really surprised how nice this lamp is.

This lamp looks like a high end design but costs less. The wood is really nice, and the shade is a perfect match both color and style. It came in a very compact box and took me a minute to figure out how to pull cordassemble, but it worked out fine. I love this lamp!

This is a very traditional lamp. The shade arrived assembled, it is white when the light is off and a soft beige when the light is on. The shade has a nice linen texture. The base is dark brown with a simple silhouette. Putting the lamp together was easy. This lamp is very versatile, I will be using it as a bedside table lamp. I gave the lamp 4 stars only because there are some scratches on the base- I assume from the bulb fixture that was unscrewed for shipping.
