This shelf and a couple others that I purchased from this brand are way more substantial and better than I had imagined. Hopefully you can tell from my pictures, but the pieces of wood are really thick and they have a clever design in hiding the hardware inside the wood shelf with a metal bracket that pulls out, and you can carry the shelf. I guess you will never lose the bracket that way. This shelf has a straight edge which I also really like a lot. The other shelves I bought have a live edge which were really cool too I just wanted to write this review since I was so pleased with the quality and the style and the look of these shelves 

This is a really beautiful wooden floating shelf. It is high quality and really ties the room together. My realtor told me shelving increases the home’s desirability for buyers too. I highly recommend this!

The shelf arrived very well packaged and without damage. It is a dark walnut color and comes with the metal hidden mounting bracket. It is heavy so make sure you mount the bracket into the wall studs. It is very nice, however the wood has a bit of "worm wood" design. This is where small worms while growing they leave little tunnels. When they stained the shelf the worm wood tunnels were not stained so they are quite obvious. I like them, but they might not fit into everyones decor.

This is actually a REALLY nicely made floating shelf! I haven’t mounted it yet, but it appears to have a cleat system to hang it. It comes with all the hardware to hang it. It is pretty heavy, so making sure you can hang it in a wall stud would be a good idea. The shelf arrived within a week and was packaged really nicely! I would highly recommend it!!
