This rug is sturdy and gorgeous. It has a Southwestern pattern that is more feminine and fun, not so stern as others I have seen. I needed turquoise, mustard, navy, and a deep red, and this rug gave it. It has no smelly backing. It doesn’t need skid backing. My dog has run all over it and it has not moved. It has no odor at all. It’s also thick so it will keep our feet warm this winter. I bought it for the living room. It looks so good on my wood floor, that I have to congratulate the artist who made and designed it.
