Very substantial weight and beautiful design to elevate your traditional look. We had originally ordered 4, but soon realized that two would look better. We would have given 5 stars however the paint on one of the shelves was cracked and the hardware to hang the shelf up, was totally different from the other 3 shelves and didn’t look like it would be secure. Very pleased with the two which we kept.

Paint is absolutely terrible got a replacement same thing. Cracks all along the edges on the top side etc. The paint or the paint job are really low quality or the combination of both. I couldn’t recommend this. Unless you don’t mind painting it ur self lol.

Just right for my small fireplace. The most time-consuming part of installation was measuring and marking the wall. Looks great.

Very solidly built 18” shelf with a solid wood mounting french cleat included. It was too wide and heavy for the space and stud locations in my room but I decided to keep it to use in another project. There are a couple of cracks in the paint from shrinking but nothing I can’t cover up. The date tag is from 2 years ago so it has cured in storage. Too heavy to hang without tapping into at least 2 studs for solid support.

Larger than I thought it would be but much easier to put up than I imagined as well. Definitely adds to the decor

This is a beautiful shelf and it comes in a hard to find width. It is finished on the top and bottom. We bought several and are using them to display my husband’s vintage clocks. The hanging apparatus is called a French Cleat. In commercial applications this can be very strong. Unfortunately for this shelf, it doesn’t work so well. We loved the look of the shelf enough to add our own extra mounting to attach the French Cleat to the wall, and a small L-bracket painted white to strengthen the attachment to the wall. They are now securely attached and the clocks look fantastic displayed upon them. If you are handy, this shelf is worth the extra effort to mount it securely.
