I bought two of these bookcases and I like them. The color is exactly what I was looking for to complete my home office. They are tall and sturdy and the trim pieces around the edges and on each shelf or what make the bookcases stand out. Looks exactly like the pictures in the listing. I’m looking forward to decorating them. The reason why I gave them four stars is first because they were missing connection pieces. The only reason why I was able to put them together is because I bought two in between both sets of hardware I was able to put both of them together. Second, the laminate while it looks very pretty and like real wood it is very easy to damage while you’re putting the bookcase together. So you have to be extremely careful. I damaged the laminate on one side, putting in a shelf at the very end of assembly. Luckily, for me because this is a lighter color. It doesn’t really show. Please note that these are very heavy and I couldn’t lift the boxes. But they are pretty easy to put together, even though none of the pieces are labeled (but the instruction manual shows them labeled). I would buy them again and would recommend for someone who is buying some bookshelves that are meant to stay put not get moved around a lot.

Just what I was looking for. Assembly was straight forward. The quality is good. I would have preferred the back of the bookshelf to be a bit more firmer but it still is a worthy addition to the room.

Unstable on carpet. I wanted these shelves because they are extremely tall. They are particleboard, but I have the appearance of real wood. It looks great, and I am actually really happy with them except, because they are so short depth wise, and so tall, they are extremely unstable. I have it on carpeting and I can tip it over with one finger, even though it’s stocked with books!!! I had to put a piece of cardboard under the two front legs so that it rests and leans back on my wall. It does come with anchors so I would advise anchoring it if you have children at all in the home. Besides that I do really like the way they look.
