Not only poorly constructed, but wood finish is so poor that there were wood splinters sticking out in a number of locations. Wood is not evenly finished. White painted lines are not at all consistent. .. and the list goes on an on.

Do not buy this. It is not packaged well. Both my original sideboard and the replacement arrived destroyed. Wayfair wanted the first one back and it took my husband over an hour to get it packed back up. I am still waiting to hear on the second destroyed one, but will probably refuse to send it back unless they want to compensate us for work hours lost packing it back up.

I ordered this in black to use as a TV stand. Out of the box I found at least two corners where there was some separation at the wood joints. Disappointing considering the price, but since it comes mostly assembled it also wasn't a surprise. Then when I went to attach the legs I found that two of the six pre-drilled holes on the bottom of the base didn't line up with the corresponding pre-drilled holes on each of the leg bases. Again, disappointing but nothing that I couldn't live with. Would have given it more stars if not for those issues.

Nice piece and looks great in my place, though the sliding doors stick a little since there's only a channel and not a sliding track. Arrived broken at the seams and I had to contact the manufacturer to resolve, but a new replacement was sent quickly without hassle.

The wood on the cabinet's side was broken and sticking out. Also there was a hole, a chunk punched out of the board. The whole piece of wood was sticking out a couple of inches from the body of the cabinet, with staples pulled out and exposed. We had to hammer the long piece of wood back into the cabinet. Horrible! And this was not cheap. It was close to $500, and then it comes busted up? We should be given a $75-$100 refund. (Impossible to repackage and mail back.) This company needs to compensate us for this shoddy merchandise. Either that, or go out of business.

I like this and am pleasantlly surprised by the color of the brown wood - I was worried it would be too gray but it's actually a nice mellow shade of brown. There were some dings in the wood and other imperfections but overall it's a nice solid piece.
