This is a great rug! I read the reviews before purchasing and saw someone gave it a bad review because the ends are frayed - that's the design of the rug!!! It's like a 1/4 inch and fits with the carpet. This winter my dogs misused the carpet, so we're trying to get the smells and marks off it - so while it was pet resistant as stated - things don't always come out of it.
