Love this pressure cooker! I've been using an aluminum PC for years, but recently changed to an induction cooktopand needed an induction compatible PC. It's easy to close the lid securely, to tell when pressure has been achieved, and to quick release the pressure. Yes, it's expensive, but I'll have it the rest of my life and pass it on when I die. I've been cooking with Instant Pots the last several years but I wanted to check out the pinnacle of German cookware, so I invested in the Fissler. So far, it has been absolutely excellent, very good design, very intuitive and I have absolutely loved the results.
