This rug is very soft. We use it as a play mat for our special needs son who can't walk. He loves it. I ordered and returned several rugs before I found one soft enough for him to play on. It looks great in person. It sheds like a beast, but all hand-tufted rugs do for the few few vacuumings.

Bought this for my sons room and again it what I was looking for. Priced right for good quality. Good thickness, should last awhile.
