Instructions are ambiguous & the product dimensions are for the matching storage shed. My shed is also a 10X8 and the customer support person researched my shed & “matched” this base to it. I have to do a fair amount of tinkering with the base & should have it work with my shed. Make sure you match the base with the shed & they’re from the same company!
