Alfreida 78.74'' Sideboard

Great experience with purchasing this sideboard/buffet. Excellent delivery team. They delivered the product with care and placed it in the room of our choice, made sure it was level, and removed all packaging. The side board is of great quality, solid, and has a lot of space to store everything we were hoping.. We are very pleased with our purchase.

The first one delivered was cracked in several places. The delivery men were great to promptly repack the piece and return it. Customer service called to schedule the replacement. I love the piece. However, it does have a unique smell that I am hoping airs out soon, and there is a small fracture at the top of one drawer.

Product was delivered damaged. Wayfair offered to send a repairman out to fix the product, but told me I had to wait 2 weeks since the service office was on vacation. Then when my repair date arrived, the repairman told me he didn’t have the right parts to fix it and then left.

This is a good-looking piece. The finish is a bright white.

Delivery is good. Unfortunately I found this sideboard disappointed. It has strong new furniture smell and I am concerned whether it would cause health problem for the kids. We have to buy an air purifier for it. And the poor quality, details are not good. It does not look like a sideboard worth the price. We are considering whether to return it.

The product is exactly as described and what wanted. Overall the quality of the materials and construction are of high quality but the hinges on one of the lower doors were improperly set resulting in one of the doors not properly closing. I have contacted customer service and hopefully the issue will be resolved.

We are extremely disappointed with this piece of furniture, especially considering the $1,700 price tag. While it may look nice at first glance, the craftsmanship is subpar. The finish is rough with visible flaws, and the overall construction feels flimsy. Functionality is equally disappointing—parts don’t fit together properly, and durability is highly questionable. None of the drawers actually pull out easily and the drawer runner in the picture below is actually broken. I am sure all the drawers were built with the same poor quality and will break in short order. If you’re looking for something purely decorative, it might suffice, but if you need a sturdy, well-made piece, this is not it. To make matters worse, Wayfair’s customer service was no help at all. They simply redirected us to the manufacturer, offering no real assistance. This entire experience—both the product and the service—has been frustrating and disappointing. There’s no substitute for shopping in person and seeing the product in real time. The website photos were incredibly misleading, making the furniture look far more high-quality than it actually is. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t live up to the pictures.

Beautiful piece, but damaged on arrival. Still waiting to have it fixed.
