Tolchester Handmade Wood Window Box Planter

Outstanding! When we took our box to the greenhouse business to select plants they flat out said Beautiful. You will need to stain to the color of your choice. Additionally put brackets underneath to support weight. Yes a bit of work for full effect .

Absolutely overpriced. These are beautiful- they are NOT functional. Do not buy with out considering that these are UNFINISHED. You will need to seal these or they will rot. I did not look closely enough and thought that “natural” was the color. “Natural” should be called what it is - “unfinished”. Thats my biggest bone to pick. Not to mention the wood is split, cracked, and exposed screws. Just not a high quality product. These are double the price they should be. These were more expensive than a lot of similar items but i loved the design so i decided to splurge. I really regret that and DO NOT recommend these to anyone. Poor craftsmanship. I am really dissatisfied- going to look into returning them.

I’m Just thrilled w this planter and wish it were more affordable for my budget to purchase the big one. I’d love to know the wooden brackets others have used w this… I’m sure the cleat w be secure but it would elevate the look a little more w two sodden brackets.

I love these window boxes. I painted them white and hung them up. I filled them with some of my favorite plants. The very next day we were hit with a tropical storm, boxes and plants are still perfect!

Bought this as gift for daughter and son in law who live in a row home. Beautiful quality!!

These planters are very solid and well made.

I love these!! Great weight, beauful construction and they smell wonderful. I will be staining them a gorgeous Charleston Green. The only issue I have is that where the drainage holes are in the bottom, the wood is split in several places on each window box. Whoever drilled the holes couldve taken a bit more time to ensure the wood wouldnt split.
