Aluminum Pergola with Canopy

My order is incomplete... I'm missing pieces from my order again...This is the problem I've been having when ordering from Wayfair...

Needed ours a little taller on the short side. Poured pillars to raise the short side and added pavers to raise the high side. Love it! We had some tiny drips along the ceiling frame and resolved it with a quick roll of flex seal across the top of the bolts on top. No more leaks! Very sturdy since it is meant to be attached to a structure and the floor. We added curtain rods and curtains to block morning and evening sun. Disappointed as Half pea sized hail/rain mix a week or so ago popped holes through the first layer on top of the polycarbonate roof panels. Called AECOJOY number 818-581-5223 to discuss misleading info in description. Left a voicemail and return call came from 815-552-0574. The “AECOJOY accountant” claims he could issue a refund to the card but then said it won’t work and asked if I had CashApp, Zelle, PayPal, Venmo. Claimed he had to refund the amount to cover the ceiling panels then charge it the same amount to send new replacement panels out. My (his)Venmo is @Dwaindaley and asked what pic I was seeing… I asked him what picture SHOULD I be seeing? He described a few that were incorrect then one that was correct. I refused to pay and told him he was condescending, rude and that I did know how Venmo worked. He hung up on me. His Venmo profile pic was changed immediately. **6/22/25 Flipped the damaged panels and rolled white flex seal. Should help with hail and has already blocked heat. Might go for it and add a day to your initial build.

Very well made and simple to assemble. I did it by myself in about two hours. All the parts were clearly marked and fit together perfectly. The instrutions were adwquetw but could use some fine tuning. Overall a good experience and terrific finished product. Note-this was a few inches too large but we were able to attach the forward posts directy to the wood railing by removing the lower sections. Very sturdy.

This pergola is fantastic! It’s beautiful, modern, looks like an extension of our home, and keeps our deck dry in the rain and cool in the sun. I looked at reviews before purchasing and found the bad reviews to be from people not setting it up properly. It is NOT a stand alone product and is meant to be bolted to another structure like a home, AND also a deck or concrete. Make absolutely sure you read the actual measurement on anything you purchase and measure your space then follow the instructions. On another note, we had a four sided hardtop structure on our deck for years and replaced it with this one, because rain water wasn’t directed away from the seating area. When it fell from the roof onto the deck, the splash made our outdoor furniture more wet, so we haven’t enjoyed our deck during the smallest of rain showers until now. We are so pleased.

Not what it is described to be. Not happy with the quality

We’ve had this up for a year now and we’re pretty satisfied. It held up through the winter with some snow on top and it’s been very sturdy with the relentless winds. Our only complaints are that when debris gets stuck on top, water does tend to drip through the panels and it definitely holds in the heat during the summer months. It gets very toasty underneath so we put a fan up to blow the heat out. It took hours to put together because none of the holes lined up and the panels were a pain to get in because of the limited access to the sections once you start installing them. If the panels kept more of the heat out, it would be a five star purchase.

What the canopy provides for me A The Assembly instructions F- Im giving this a C average because the three stars that it gets are for the finished product and what it gives to me on my back porch. Whoever wayfair contracts for these things needs to take a hard look at instructions. Theres no written instruction its all picture It doesnt make sense and its backwards to install it the way it described. I definitely wouldnt buy this again based on that but I do like what it has done for my sitting space

Cheap, flimsy. The UV protectors do not go in straight and we're too long. They were obviously cut not accounting for the support metal divider. I called for support. Not helpful. Was a asked if damaged. No, they are the wrong length and don't go in straight. I had to finally just cut them myself to finish assembly. The picture is after I cut the other side. The one end stuck out 2 inches on one side

We love this pergola so much. We definitely use our deck way more now. I wanted something that we could hang some fans from since our area gets lots of mosquitoes. I was able to hang two lightweight and powerful fans that do a wonderful job at keeping the bugs away. I was originally looking at vinyl pergola kits but then found this one that had an enclosed roof and the price was even better! Now we can sit out here when it’s raining (although it does drip a tiny bit in some spots). The instructions were fine, but I wish they had been more detailed about sliding the roof pieces in. It helps to look at it from the top because the pieces need to go in either farther than you think or else they stick out too far at the end. Since we had to redo this part and since my 3 energetic kids were home, it took my husband and I about 10 hours, split up over 2 days.
