This rug pad has worked exactly as I hoped. I purchased it for a low-profile area rug on hardwood flooring, and it has kept the rug securely in place with no slipping or shifting during everyday use. It also adds a little extra cushioning underfoot without adding noticeable thickness, which was a nice bonus. I appreciated that although the pad arrived folded rather than rolled, it flattened out quickly. Once the rug was placed on top, I couldn't feel or see the fold lines at all.
