I love this tree! I was able to put it up myself…but definitely recommend having assistance to put up the top piece. It took me a couple of hours to fluff it because I am short, so I needed to use a step ladder to get to the top. Putting the lights on was also a challenge. I think this was about 3 strands of lights. I started at the top and worked around. I love that you can see the ornaments inside the tree. The tree is beautiful but it will not stand upright. 2 out of the of the holes on the bracket is no good and the screws are not tightening to keep the tree upright. **Update** 5-Stars!!! The vendor sent me a new stand that makes the entire set makes sense. At first the tree seemed a little short and there was a section that I couldn’t use with the old stand. Since they sent me the new stand I was able to use all of the sections and the tree is much taller and much more breath taking. I am in love. I put some decorations on it. I want to return this tree. First, the stand isn’t sturdy enough to hold the tree upright securely. The individual branches are very thin and sparse. They will not hold an ornament without bending way down. I could not find the connections for the lights in the tree, so I couldn’t even check to see if they all work. Love this tree. Very heavy so my husband modified or added to how to hang the tree. It can be permanent or taken down. I searched for this tree before deciding on Wayfair. They were the cheapest and tallest tree available. Others had smaller trees for way more money. The tree is very full and lush so putting on wall instead of corner like I did would be easier because then all the branches could open up fully. Great after my handy husband fixed the weird gap with a pipe cutter and hacksaw. I have been hanging a Christmas tree upside-down from the ceiling for 20 years. This was the first tree made to be hung upside down. Three years later, we still love it and we have minimal needle loss with each use. This is our second upside down Christmas tree…it’s been a tradition since our kids were really young. This one is even bigger than our previous one but I love it as it fills up our large space in the stairway.
