I just bought this lighted star in December (2022) based on reviews and how it looks. I am very pleased with it! I have had it a couple of weeks now and really like the way it looks outside; see two photos. My photos really don't do it justice. Although I have only had it for a few brief moments as I bought it in preparation for the holidays as I wanted to ensure that I had it available the very moment I start decorating for the holiday season so my comments are based on the few minutes I have tested them and I have no information regarding longevity. I have seen versions of this light around town for the past two holiday seasons. They are extremely eye catching and give a one of a kind look that very few people will have. If you are a little like me and like to show your neighbors up with your holiday lights you can't go wrong by buying these lights. They are the most gorgeous lights you could hope to find and will be an instant conversation piece. The tubes easily unscrew from the central hub to allow for easy disassembly / storage. The packaging could / should be improved as the light rods are only protected by a little bubble wrap. Although nothing was damaged in route you may want to find a better way to store them in the off season. Although I must admit I'm not sure how to better store them at this point.. Stephen. This Star is flat on the back which makes it very versatile to install. It is well made and very pretty. My issue is that the lights on the picture look like a warm yellow and the lights actually look like a cool blue- which makes sense since they are LED. Also the picture of the star on the house is completely disproportionate. So make sure to check your measurements and pay attention to what type (color) lights you are looking for.. Laura.
