We bought this for my 4 year old for his birthday with the intention that he will grow and develop into the toy. We have been so impressed with it as he can turn Botley and the remote on and code him to make a train and a frog all by himself. It's brilliant that it has so many funny features as well like lights and dance mode which he can now do by himself. When Botley follows the line he loves the whistles and noises Botley makes while he is going along. We haven't tried out obstacle avoidance yet or playing with the balls and blocks which will come as he develops. A great toy and brings so much joy, we will be using this for many years.. Merelina. An economical way to bring rods into the classroom. Use with 12-18 students.

These rods appear to be of good quality. The plastic "lid" can be challenging to open and students might end up dropping them as a result. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. There is lots of space in the package so it isn't hard to get the lid back on. I bought these as giveaways for a math conference and need many individual packages so this was a perfect purchase for us.. Sandi. Undisclosed. Fri May 11 2018

These durable, non-toxic thermometers measure from -30°C to 120°C and from -22°F to 240°F. Safe to use, these thermometers are made from plastic and are mercury-free. Use them for measuring the boiling points of various liquids.

These durable thermometers are great for elementary and middle school students to use when measuring temperature, especially since they go from below 0 to above 100 degrees Celsius. I have also used them for 100th day of school activities when measuring ice, cool water, room temp. air, hand temp., boiling water, and steam. For the elementary grades, I recommend coloring in the below zero areas with blue sharpie, so they do not get confused with below 10 degrees and above 10 degrees or even covering up the Fahrenheit side with masking tape to only measure in one scale..
