Most Common Questions
How many place settings do we need?
Start with enough to match the number of dinnerware place settings you registered for—usually eight to twelve. Choose five-piece sets, a collection with multiple place settings, or open stock, a la cart flatware pieces.
What comes in a typical five-piece place setting?
This set includes a knife, dinner fork, salad fork, soup spoon, and teaspoon.
We want low-maintenance flatware—what should we choose?
Register for stainless steel options that won't require polishing.
What does it mean if I see 18/10, 18/8, or 18/0 in the description?
These numbers stand for the percentage of chromium and nickel that make up the stainless steel. The first number refers to the chromium that’s added to make the metal rust-resistant. The second number stands for nickel, which gives the metal a bright shine—the more nickel, the shinier the flatware will be. All three options are made for everyday use and, with the right care, will last a lifetime.
