Overall, a pretty rug. Be aware that the color is changeable depending on the light in the room and what it is next to. The online photo and the photo attached to the rug make it look green. Ands it has a green binding. The color is listed as brown and when first opened, it did look brown. once on the floor next to a wallpapered wall, it shifted to more of a green with gold highlights. A bit pricey for the size.. Rob. Provincetown, MA. Tue Feb 14 2023

Carlisle brings warm, sun-washed colour to a plain floor. Soft ochre carries the surface, olive settles into the shadows, and pale stone breaks through like light on an old wall. The design is one colour worn down over itself, so the shade shifts gently from edge to edge with no busy motif to fight your furniture. From a few steps back it reads as a calm, solid field. Up close you see the distressed grain, the faded patches and the quiet streaks that give it age without clutter. It warms a cool grey room, it softens white walls, and it sits happily with wood, leather, linen and black metal. The first picture shows the design flat and on its own, so you see the whole pattern and its true colours before you see it styled in a room. Colours can look a little different on each screen. In the living room, lay Carlisle under the coffee table and let the ochre and olive pull the seating into one warm group. In the bedroom, put it at the foot of the bed so your feet land on something soft each morning. Under a dining table it holds the chairs on one calm field, and crumbs lift off with a vacuum. In the entryway it greets shoes, bags and wet boots at the door. Down a long hallway it quiets footsteps and leads the eye to the far end. In a home office it sits under the desk and chair and takes the chill off the floor. In a kids' room it gives a soft place to build and read. It also works outdoors, so a covered porch or a sunroom gets the same warm stone-and-olive glow. Sizes matter more than anything else here. A long narrow runner suits a hallway, a galley kitchen or the space beside a bed, and it covers a walking line without crowding the room. A larger rectangle can sit under the front legs of a sofa and chairs, or under a whole dining set so chairs stay on the rug when you pull them out. A small rectangle works by a door or at a sink. Every size is listed in feet and inches and in centimetres. Measure your floor and mark the size with tape before you choose, then pick from the sizes shown. The design is printed with a high-quality digital print, so the colour is rich and the detail stays sharp. Fine cracks, soft fades and the grain of the distressed finish all come through clearly instead of blurring into a flat block of ochre. The pile is a low 6mm, about 0.24 inches, so the surface is smooth and even underfoot with no deep shag to flatten or rake. A soft middle layer is bonded into one piece with the top and the backing, so it still feels cushioned when you stand on it. Light moves across the low surface and keeps the olive and stone tones looking natural. Cleaning is simple. Blot a fresh spill and spot clean it with water. You can wipe a fresh mark off the surface with a damp cloth. Vacuum it with no beater bar to lift dust, crumbs and pet hair. When life gets messy, the whole rug goes in the washing machine: wash it cold on a gentle cycle, then tumble dry low or lay it flat to dry. It does not shed and it does not fuzz, so no loose fibres or grey dust collect along the skirting boards or under the sofa. That makes it easy to keep a pale stone tone looking fresh in a busy home. Day to day, the non-slip backing grips the floor, so the rug stays where you put it on wood, tile or laminate instead of sliding under your feet. The low 6mm pile clears most doors, so a front door or a wardrobe door can swing over it without catching. The surface is ultra soft, so bare feet, knees and paws are comfortable on it. The edge is finished with a durable overlock stitch, and there is no fringe to catch a toe, a chair leg or a vacuum. It is antiallergenic and antibacterial, so it suits homes with pets and children. Because it works indoors and outdoors, you can move it from the hallway to a covered porch when the seasons change. Carlisle gives you warm ochre, olive and stone underfoot, and little work in return.

Beautiful colors, and very soft!. Allison. Knoxville, TN. Mon Jan 15 2024

Its blend of gold and blue tones exudes a refreshing ambiance. Constructed with 76% polypropylene and 23% polyester, this rug offers a comfortable feel underfoot with a thickness of 1/. The power loomed weave adds a touch of precision to its novelty style, making it a unique addition to any room. Its simple pattern allows it to complement both modern and traditional decor. Whether placed in a living room, bedroom, or dining area, this rug provides the perfect balance of style and comfort. Designed for versatility and built to last, this rug is the perfect foundation for both indoor and outdoor spaces. Whether you're styling a cozy living room, a covered patio, or an open-air deck, it delivers beauty without compromising durability. Crafted to withstand the demands of outdoor living, this rug is made from resilient, weather-resistant materials that hold up beautifully through sun, rain, and everyday wear. Its durable construction resists fading and moisture, making it ideal for all seasons and all climates. Spills and messes? No problem. Although the color and pattern look exactly like the photo, the rug is super thin with no nap. Looks like a blurry photo printed on a flexible rubber mat. The edge banding is large and visible. The rug won't lay flat as there are ripples both vertical and horizontal. Not worth the money. Sending it back.. Lisa. Calgary, AB. Mon Oct 02 2023

Beautiful replica of a one-of-a-kind rug

Revival made a better washable rug. Made of recycled materials with an extraordinarily comfortable pile, these pieces are not mats: they're the real deal, thick and soft to cushion every step. Plus, their lightness and foldability makes washing easy. In this piece, soft cream is juxtaposed with olive green in a cheeky classic check pattern.

Absolute trash. Looks like they took a 640x480 jpeg and stretched it to fit this 7'x9' rug. I've never seen a rug that looked blurry before. You can also see some white lines near the bottom-right of my picture where the weave is so loose its showing the layer below. I don't think this even qualifies as a rug. Its more like a blanket that they somehow ran through a printer, and I've seen cakes with higher quality printing.. Anonymous. Fri Sep 08 2023

This collection was inspired by our local National Forest. The Uwharrie mountain range is full of color and we have incorporated these hues in the blend of yarns that create this iconic braided rug. You will notice the smaller size braid, what we consider a micro-braid, it is tighter and feels stronger making it quite sturdy and durable. The elevated color palates will enhance any style of interior from modern cottages to transitional spaces.

Beautiful replica of a one-of-a-kind rug.

This abstract modern color area rug is stitched together well and appears to not easily break apart as some rugs do over time. The color is simply beautiful and the photo of it on Wayfair is very accurately portrayed. I gave it four stars instead of 5 stars because for the price, I had hoped it would be thicker as most moderately expensive area rugs are at that price. Otherwise, it is perfect.. Steven. NM.
