Cowhide Solid 8' x 10' Rugs

The Tikkul Solid Black is a statement-making hairon leather patchwork rug with the depth and confidence of a true designer piece. Hand-assembled from small, uniform squares of 100% genuine hairon cowhide, its mosaic construction creates a rich, dimensional surface that reads as solid black from a distance — yet reveals subtle variation in tone and texture up close, with hints of deep espresso and charcoal woven throughout the field. The result is a rug that anchors a room with quiet authority, whether placed in a modern loft, a moody study, or a high-contrast contemporary living space. Available in both rectangular and round silhouettes, making it as versatile as it is striking. A felt backing adds comfort underfoot and keeps the rug firmly in place on any flooring surface.

The Tikkul Ivory is the purest expression of the Tikkul patchwork collection — a serene, all-ivory hairon leather rug with no metallic finish, just the natural warmth and quiet texture of genuine cowhide. Hand-assembled from small, uniform squares of 100% hairon leather, its mosaic construction creates a barely-there grid pattern that adds subtle dimension without disrupting the calm, monochromatic palette. The result is a rug that disappears into a space in the best possible way, lending softness, warmth, and a sense of refined luxury to any room it anchors. Ideal for bright, airy interiors — Scandinavian, coastal, transitional, or minimalist — where you want the texture of real leather without the visual weight of color or shine. A felt backing adds comfort underfoot and keeps the rug securely in place.

Immerse yourself in the captivating beauty of the Sasha Bikoff x Art Hide collaboration - Mariposa rug. Sasha Bikoff, a visionary in the world of interior design, has ingeniously brought the allure of the outdoors into this rug, allowing us to reconnect with the innate charm of natural hides. It is an homage to nature and a testament to Sasha's profound appreciation for the delicate beauty of butterflies and what they symbolize. This extraordinary piece takes us on a whimsical journey. Picture yourself in a field adorned with enchanting butterflies, their vibrant colors twinkling in the sunlight as they gracefully flutter around you. Inspired by this mesmerizing spectacle, Sasha meticulously crafted the Mariposa rug to embody the essence of a wildflower-filled meadow. The butterflies, dyed in a dazzling array of custom hues, dance across the neutral backdrop, creating a striking contrast that truly makes them come alive. No longer confined by the constraints of stitching panels together, Art Hide’s Fusion hide assembly process effortlessly allows for the creation of finer, more abstract shapes, such as the delicate butterflies that grace this work of art. Each shape is meticulously rendered, resulting in a rug that is not just an exquisite floor covering, but a nature-inspired masterpiece that adds unparalleled beauty to any interior space. The Fusion technique applies layers of latex to the back of the rug, resulting in a 1/4 inch thickness so the rug is plush and extremely durable. No need for a rug pad.

The Tikkul Lt Grey is a refined hairon leather patchwork rug that brings understated luxury to any interior. Crafted entirely from 100% genuine hairon cowhide, each piece is assembled by hand in India from small, uniform leather squares — creating a mosaic-like surface in a seamless palette of cool silvers, warm taupes, and soft whites. The result is a tone-on-tone texture that reads as both organic and architectural, equally at home in a modern living room, a transitional bedroom, or a sophisticated office. A felt backing adds comfort underfoot and keeps the rug securely in place, while the natural hairon surface is inherently durable and simple to maintain — just shake or spot-clean as needed.

The rug creates an authentic hand-knotted Persian rug look; by composing high-resolution beige designs on a super soft and durable flat pile transform your living space at an affordable price. Using a unique printing process; rugs exhibit an antiqued, faded, and traditional high-value rug esthetic that has high foot traffic sustainability.

The Tikkul Navy is a graphic, high-contrast hairon leather patchwork rug that commands attention without overpowering a space. Hand-assembled from small, uniform squares of 100% genuine hairon cowhide, its mosaic construction alternates deep navy with ivory white and silver-grey tones — creating a bold, near-checkerboard pattern that shifts in light and dimension as you move through the room. It’s the kind of piece that works equally well as a focal point in a classic navy-and-white coastal interior or as a counterpoint to a warm, moody contemporary space. The naturally varied sheen of the hairon leather gives each square its own subtle character, keeping the overall design lively and organic rather than flat or mechanical. A felt backing adds comfort and grip on any flooring surface.

Wow, excellent all around. Yossef. Great Neck, NY. Thu Feb 23 2023

Update the look of your home with this rug. This rug has an appealing geometric and abstract pattern. It features a unique stripe pattern in shades of white that are sure to blend well with a variety of decors.

This was my first Wayfair purchase, and I’m very happy with the cowhide rug! We needed something light and neutral in color, but also low pile and durable because we have dogs (one of which sheds, a lot!) This rug is exactly like the photos, and blends in nicely with the furniture. You don’t see any dog hair, and it’s easy to vacuum. It’s very durable material. It was a bit stiff for the first couple weeks, but got softer and more pliable as we use it in a somewhat high traffic area of our house. Cowhide gets softer as it’s used. The subtle colors in the rug literally match with anything. We have dark floors now, but soon getting a light bamboo floor, and the floor samples go great with the rug. It’s a very elegant and durable rug! No smell of off gassing either!. Kelly. Virginia Beach, VA. Sun Jun 21 2020
