I got a nice rug pad under it as well for extra thickness. This rug is already nice and thick and very comfy to walk on. The grey color has a slight blue tint to it as well, but still very neutral. No matter where you situate it, the medium pile provides just the right amount of comfort while its tonal geometric pattern adds a touch of texture to farmhouse floors that need a little something extra. It has a sturdy latex-blend backing, but we still recommend adding a rug pad, which helps keep it in place with all of that back-and-forth foot traffic. Something to consider: When it comes to upkeep, be sure to vacuum regularly (just don’t use a beater bar/rotating brush) and spot-clean spills with water/mild detergent (we all knock over a glass every now and again).

Very well made rug. I've had it for 1-year with a heavy furniture on top and the rug fibers were able to stand the test of time and fluff back with the removal of the furniture.
