Hemp Hallway Runners

It’s soft-ish for a natural rug and 24 hours after I got it out of the packaging, it laid flat. It’s also the same color as the picture and looks great.. Heather. Livermore, CA. Wed Aug 28 2024

A nice rug that cleans up easily. Neutral tone that blends with all the surrounding colors. Claire. Wed Sep 03 2025

Great quality for the price! Love how it looks/feels. Caroline. San Diego, CA. Tue Sep 08 2026

I took a chance on this rug. There were no reviews when I purchased it. I absolutely love it. It had an indoor for maybe 30 mins. It rolled out perfectly. It is rough on the feet but I was expecting that with Jute. I want to be able to layer in the winter, and it will be perfect for that. The colour is deep and rich. Small strands do pop out as it is a natural fiber but you can easily weave back in. I recommend it. Price is on point.. Lynn. Windsor, ON. Fri Jul 30 2021

Really like this rug. I did not realize that it was a jute- like material. Afraid it won’t have a long life but it looks great for now. Kathleen. Chicago, IL. Wed Oct 08 2025

This area rug infuses your living space with a laid-back, coastal vibe. It is handmade from jute/sisal and depicts a textured pattern of geometric shapes in earthy hues of brown and black hues. The 0.31” pile height makes it feel soft and cushiony underfoot, so it’s a great choice for rooms where you like to relax and feel comfortable – think your den or bedroom. To care for it, vacuum without a beater bar or rotating brush and spot clean with water and mild detergent. We recommend rolling it out over a pad to prevent shifting.

Nice natural fiber rug. The design has a boho farmhouse vibe. Laid flat right away. Would recommend a pad underneath to prevent the rug from sliding around. The rug does have some imperfections because of the natural fiber material.. Lisa. Cavendish, VT. Tue Jul 07 2026

Simple yet unique and stylish this handwoven leather and hemp rug makes a great addition to any space. This rug gives off a natural yet warm feel and is soft underfoot.

nice quality. pile description is accurate. t lays relatively flat. and it's the kind of combination feel of tough, natural fibers with a slight softness that I was expecting. I was hoping I could roll across it with a desk chair with rollerblade-wheel casters, but that bunches the rug up. Another thing to note is the smell. When first unwrapped, the smell is potently acrid. It took a good 3 days to off-gas and for the smell to dissipate to an acceptable level.. Matthew T.. Portland, OR. Wed Jul 17 2024

The Natural Area has a natural plant fiber and a unique color variation. This Eco-friendly Woven Jute Natural Area Rug is a great addition to any room decor.

I love the rug! It came fast, no issues and looks good under my table. The texture is soft. Not sure how durable it's gonna be when rolling a vacuum cleaner over it. I will probably be using the attachment instead. I bought a felt pad to go under the rug.. Resa. Atlanta, GA. Mon Jun 24 2024

Handwoven in hemp, this 2x6 contemporary kilim runner is a sophisticated addition to Rug & Kilim's collection, reflecting a refined approach to minimalist flatweave design. The softly striated field reveals gentle vertical bands in beige, ivory, and muted blue, creating a serene, organic rhythm that lends depth, texture, and an understated elegance to contemporary interiors. This runner is a study in raw, unmanipulated honesty. It moves away from the usual busy tribal patterns, opting instead for a haptic, sensory experience rooted in the coarseness of hand-spun hemp. The weave features a rhythmic linear topography, where the "stripes" aren't dyed onto the surface but are physically built into the structure through a high-density, ribbed flatweave. This results in a low-visibility, tonal landscape where the oatmeal and bone-white fibers fluctuate depending on the angle of the light.Breaking this monochromatic meditation are the erratic memory fragments – tiny, deliberate inclusions of extra-weft fabric. These colorful scraps are essentially textile artifacts, bits of vibrant history trapped within the neutral grid of the hemp. The composition is defined by fine vertical striping, achieved through subtle variations in tone and weave, creating a quiet rhythm that elongates the form and enhances its linearity. The restrained palette allows these shifts to emerge gradually, offering depth without visual weight. The use of hemp introduces a distinctly tactile quality, with a slightly coarse, matte finish that reinforces the rug's natural character. The result is a piece that feels both grounded and adaptable, equally suited to contemporary spaces and more rustic settings.

The river weave mixes rugged hemp with luxe cotton and a subtle touch of gold to elevate its earthy texture. This renewable fiber style is available with/without tassels.

Handwoven in hemp, this 2x7 contemporary Turkish flatweave runner reflects a sophisticated modern take on classic tribal aesthetics. The piece pairs industrial-grade natural fiber durability with a sleek geometric design for a refined, minimalist appeal. This exceptional contemporary runner is a striking exercise in shadowed graphic restraint, operating as a moody, sophisticated study in organic material and minimalist form. The composition strips away the conventional multi-tiered borders of Turkish flatweaves, allowing a vertical column of stark, jet-black tribal medallions to march down the raw corridor with powerful presence. These geometric figures—heavily abstract interpretations of historic kilim protection icons—possess an architectural weight, functioning almost like ancient stamps or ironwork set against a rustic canvas. The soul of the flatweave resides entirely in its haptic, un-dyed topographical texture. The backdrop is a masterfully rustic blend of deep charcoal and weathered espresso brown, revealing the shifting tonal variations inherent to natural, raw hemp stalks. The heavy, industrial-grade hemp fiber lends the piece a substantial body and a crisp, clean drape.
