Very beautiful rug. I loved it when I first laid it down. However, I just vacuumed it for the first time and it immediately started loosening threads. The FIRST TIME! Overall it’s a very nice rug. The colors are a little more vibrant than they appeared on the product images. I think it still works though. The texture is very soft but it’s a thinner rug so it would go nicely under a dining table or something like that. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received this rug, it was packaged accordingly so that there would be no snags or dirt on it. Once I laid it down, it looked better than the photo they had for it. Colors were rich and the fibers offered a soft feel on my feet. I did have to put something heavy on the ends to flatten them out for the first twenty-four hours as they weren't flat after unrolling this rug. It's typical to experience, so I anticipated having to do so. The backing on this rug is no different than any other rug. It doesn't slip when walked on or move when being vacuumed which was nice. My home does have a dog and a cat and this rug has not snagged at all which tells me it's durable because that's usually a common problem for me when it comes to my cat. The colors blend so nicely in this rug which is another thing that I loved. The style I received did compliment my decor in my living room and gave it that extra pop in the overall design. I have shampooed this rug as well and it stayed soft without any color fading or issues. I'm really satisfied with this rug and will be ordering a runner in this style as well.. Berry43. Even though the rug has a lot of colors in it, it feels neutral. We put ours on top of our hardwood floors and it looks great! It has a small fringe on the 12’ sides which is a nice detail. The rug has a beautiful texture that I was looking for. Not plush by any means but chairs can slide over very easily and vacuuming is quick and easy.
