There is no padding or cushion whatsoever just the layer of thin black rubber backing and the thin woven top so this is not an Anti-Fatigue mat and it won’t help for long periods of standing on it. It’s a nice mat though… aside from the fabric edges I tested water on it and it’s waterproof because it’s a vinyl type material so it would be very easy to keep clean from kitchen spills.. Jules.
