The rug is good quality and pretty The color, however, varies a lot from the product photos. I expected the colors to be deeper. It has lovely sage and olive green. Instead of what was described as “clay” it is more of a salmon pink blend. Instead of a rich dark slate blue, it is a lighter and medium blue blend. Beautiful rug. The muted design is not overwhelming yet interesting. The rug is more of a teal green, with hints of a blue, olive greens, yellows and browns. It's like a watercolor painting with colors blending into each other. This rug compliments a room with greens, browns, blue and yellow. Unfortunately, the camera picture does not capture the "true" colors of this rug. The texture is not plush due to the tufted style but still feels nice. It is well made and thick. We ordered a pad to go with it and that added to the cushion feel under your feet, we recommend to pair it with a pad we went with 1/2 inch. We love the look and are very happy with our purchase. The only complaint we have is the way the rug was packaged. It was not rolled up but instead folded over a few times and this created a problem with creating "lumps" it was hard getting the rug to lay down properly. This rug is a starting point for a room we are repurposing into a small den for reading & TV so won't get a lot of traffic. Having said that, it appears to be well-bound and did not have an odor (something I have read on other rug posts). There are lots of colors so lots of decorating possibilities! There is a photo with paint chips and for reference, the dark middle color in the rug matches Glidden Mountain Pine, so more green (I thought it was Navy). We are tending toward the bluey green but one could easily paint walls in off whites, beiges even peachy pink. There is far more variation in color within the design that makes it really pretty.
