This is what you’d expect from an inexpensive MDF piece of shelving. The finish is a glossy wood grain. It’s the sand thickness and sturdiness as your typical MDF pieces. It’s nice that it came well packaged and even included a screwdriver to aid in assembly

I got this book shelf for my grandson. It perfectly matches the desk he has also from wayfair. It took very little time to assemble and it is really sturdy. No wobble. Heavy enough to hold some weight but not so heavy you can’t move it around. He is 7 years old and loves to read. This will keep his growing library organized.

This bookshelf is not of good quality. The instructions for assembly are really bad, with skipping steps and how to put the bookshelf together. I have screws that I don't even know where they were supposed to be. I hope it lasts.

Other than it is small and fits in tight spaces I don’t recommend. The quality is really bad. It has a lot of gaps between the boards and was obviously not cut properly. It’s not super sturdy so I only put what I have to on it. The cubes are too small for all standard bins.

This 4-cube wooden bookshelf is a great bookshelf for organizing in a small area. You can see from my pictures that you can fit an amazing number of items in a small space with this bookshelf. When you don’t have a large room, bedroom, dorm, apartment, etc. this bookshelf is just the thing you need. It is compact yet big on space. It is slim so it fits next to a bed, desk, in a tight corner or small area. This shelf has clean lines so it goes with any style in your home. I chose black because it’s modern and goes with any décor as an accent or stand out piece. It was easy to assemble, it just took a little time and patience. It took me about an hour and a half. But I was in no rush. This shelf would look so cute with potted plants on top and in the shelves also. The skinny bookshelf is 9.45" x 11.8" x 45.87"(D x W x H). It would also look so cute with a lot of photos on and in it, toys placed on and in it, magazines, decorative items, and of course books. I just keep thinking of ways it could be used. It’s so versatile. Each cube can support up to 30 lbs. And just wipe it off with a damp then dry cloth to clean. It is made of wood so it is nice and sturdy. Now that I think about it… this shelf could be used almost anywhere!!! It would be great in an office, work, library, living room, bedroom, kitchen, family room, or school. I really like this shelf and think you will too.

The order was filled and shipped to us very fast. The book shelf was easy to assemble and come with very easy to follow instructions. All of the hardware was packaged well no pieces where missing. It even came with a small screwdriver to help with assembly. It fit perfectly where I needed it to go. Now I just need to fill it with more bobbleheads.

Great little bookshelf for the playroom. We have a few books that have become favorites, so this is the perfect size shelf to keep them within reach! I originally was thinking I may put a storage bin on the bottom, but the bin I had was a bit too large. If you plan on using a bin, please double-check measurements on the inside of the shelves. It seems durable, although not heavy or bulky. It did come with wall anchors, so be sure to use this shelcing unit in a safe manner. Fair price for the quality. (Books not included, just shown for size referencing)

This is going to work for what we need, but I would be concerned if it needed to support weight. It's not completely wood and the cardboard inserts were damaged on the corners. I haven't had a chance to put my items on the shelves yet, but I like the height of the cubes for the TV. It will be better to see when in bed. It will help with the organization of items in the room.

Love this piece just a basic black shelves perfect to go in a boys room for displays I didn’t pay attention and got the bigger one which is 4 shelves but worked out perfect for what I needed. So easy to build

Overall, its not a bad bookshelf. Ypu get what you pay for but it will serve the purpose i got it for. My complaint is we were missing 3 screws. The top is not screwed on in the photo. We got the whole thing built and only had 1 screw left (pictured).
