Soft and fluffy! The color is a perfect, rusty burnt orange. It rolled out easily and din’t need any time to uncurl. Laid flat right away. You can see a little bit of the backing through the carpet if the shag is moved just so, but that seems rare and it’s staying fluffy as we and our 2 cats use it. The cats find it especially luxurious to roll around on ha ha! Only a little bit of shedding the first day—just a few small fuzzies—and nothing since then.
