Beautiful rug and I get a lot of compliments on it. However, do not sit or lay down on this rug. You will have sooooo many fibers on you.

Don’t waste your money. Not only does this rug shed a lot but I have to constantly cut strings off of it. I wish I had a time machine so I could go back and decide to buy something else. 

Revising my review after owning this rug for several months. Initially I was very happy with this rug as the colors are great and it looked perfect in the room. It does shed quite a bit. What is most disappointing (and leading to my low review) is the carpet has horizontal lines that are within the color swatches. I've attached a photo so you can see the lines. It definitely looks machine made and not handmade like the title states. I've been very careful taking care of this rug and vacuum it without the beater bar so I don't think it's something I did. Too bad this happened for the price. I would not purchase again.

Very beautiful rug.. hands down the best looking! However, lord have mercy!!! It’s like having a pet that sheds like crazy!! Literally like walking all over a cat, a dog, a sheep, I don’t know... all the animals with fur!!! Not only does it shed.. the lint is tracked all over the our bamboo floor!!! I’m not sure how anyone can put this in their main living area. I read all the reviews, of which some emphasized the shedding... some said it gets better with time and frequent vacuuming.... NOT TRUE!!! I researched how to keep up with wool carpet... no hope of lessening the shedding.... maybe the carpet has to be very very expensive... which would mean maybe made better. So anyway, I put it in our less used room. But in the future it will our daughters room... so that mean I will have to buy another rug and give this away .... because I can’t even sell it... that would be really cheating someone, unless they have use for lint **shrugs shoulder** As you can see the pic of my sons pants.... no way anyone can sit on it, walk with sock on it, even bare feet we cringe.....right now I have a large gray exercise mat on it... the room is currently our too exercise room so the children do not go in it... and the adults tip toe or jump onto the exercise math trying to average coming into contact with the rug... However, the rug feels good under your feet if you don’t mind lint.... it’s beautiful and we love opening the door and seeing it... but IT IS NOT FUNCTIONAL. But it if you just want something pretty to look at, if you love lint or if you enough tip toeing....

Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL rug, it’s not shedding that much, it’s soft, very goos quality.
