Novello was inspired by the architectural geometries of Carlo Scarpa and the hazy tonal color quality of the sci-fi movie Dune. It's woven on a Jacquard loom, which creates intricate designs by individually lifting warp threads. This technique adds a cloudy texture to the piece, almost like a desert storm, giving the viewer a bird's eye view of a fantasy realm. These designs have no defined top or bottom, so their angles can interact with your space in a myriad of ways. Palazzo's geometric design expands from the center like a Fibonacci spiral, with no beginning or end.
