The floating shelf looks exactly like the pictures—10/10! It's beautiful, sturdy, and looks great once it's installed. The instructions said there were 14 steps, but it definitely felt like there were a lot more. Even so, one person was able to put it together, although it took a little over 3 hours. The drawers were a bit finicky to get aligned, but with some patience we were able to get them working properly in the end.
