Ok, so this took a lifetime to make it to us. Ordered in December and received in late May. There was very limited communication from the shipper. When received, the poor guy hired through Wayfair really struggled to get it together because of the complexity and poor instructions. That all being said, Wayfair should increase the time allotted for building the desk. Otherwise, I think it’s gorgeous. It’s high quality and looks amazing.

Cheap material from China. Instructions are terrible. Way overpriced. The drawers and doors are especially cheap. Metal hardware came scratched.

Absolutely love this desk. Study, very heavy, spacious and looks great.

Horrible all around! 1. Doesn’t look anything like the picture. 2. Bought “professional” installation. The install was scheduled more than a month after delivery, which was annoying. Then the installer struggles to put it together and is missing parts. Wayfair won’t help because it’s past 30 days. Won’t return it either. Last time I ever buy from Wayfair, which has been decent in past purchases. Now I have a non functional $2,000 desk. Ridiculous!!

The pros. It has plenty of space. The top is bigger than I imagined. Great storage. Nice looking desk at a reasonable price. The cons. The instructions are horrible. It actually came with two sets of instructions for different stages of the set up. They use the same piece designation for similar pieces that are actually different. They skip steps. The pictures are too small to see the details you need to assemble the desk without trial and error. As to assembly, the holes are not always drilled in the appropriate spots. The order of assembly is counterproductive. Finally, it takes at least 2 people to assemble this desk and one needs to be small with long arms. I have never had to get as contorted building a piece of furniture as I did with this desk. If you have little experience assembling furniture, I would not recommend you cut your teeth with this desk.

I’m giving the product itself a good review because when assembled it’s a great desk. It took three months to arrive and the product arrived in hundreds of pieces and about five boxes. I ordered the assembly service when I purchased the desk and on the scheduled assembly day, the Wayfair pro left within about 30 minutes without assembling the product. Wayfair then rescheduled the assembly service TWICE and then, incredibly, with no notice to me CANCELLED the assembly service that I paid for. I’m absolutely appalled by the customer service experience where I was hung up on multiple times and ultimately was told I would have to find my own assembly service (even though Wayfair advertised/promoted the assembly service and I PAID for the service) Truly unbelievable and disgusted by Wayfair’s customer service. Again, I’m give the product/manufacturer the rating it deserves but Wayfair itself gets -5.

Looks good but hard to put together

The instructions on this desk are the worst I have ever seen. It's almost impossible to put this thing together without taking it apart because a piece was put in wrong. The manufacturer needs to get it right. When you use the videos the items shown are not the same as what is in the box. The desk itself is fine once its together.

Took a while to finally get it (almost 3 mos), but love the desk - nice quality, though side drawers are shallow. Recommend getting assembly service (came in 5 boxes) and could use 2 people to put together.
