These modern carpet tiles represent a marriage of the ancient weaving craft with the modernist aesthetic thought. This incredible union resulted in an extremely qualitative utilitarian object which is versatile enough to match both classic and state-of-the-art interiors. Hand-made of the finest wool according to old and refined techniques, the carpet is distinguished by its remarkable ribbed texture which is in fact the only adornment of the otherwise plain and simple pile. Such masterly execution is a guarantee of the area rug's longevity and terseness and, at the same time, a promise that it will properly and without a blemish serve its lucky owners for generations. Another timeless thing about this solid color carpet is the color palette which builds upon particularly light tones of off-white, beige, and gray. Pure, simple, and ingenious - these three words perhaps describe the charm of this modern composition most accurately. If you desire a whiff of freshness in your home, this is precisely the option for you. Doris Leslie Blau carries an exceptional collection of original modern rugs in many styles and materials. Contemporary hand-made rugs are a bridge throughout history, they are the fruit of the constant evolution of the weaving craft that has accompanied men since the dawn of civilization.
