This modern runner combines ancient craft with contemporary trends. Its face carries an allover zigzag design which in the oriental tradition is known as Su Yolu and symbolizes running water – a very scarce and precious resource. The design is rendered in beige and gray. On top of its excellent appearance, the piece may also boast about its refined workmanship. Carefully hand-knotted of high-quality wool and silk, the rug is durable and soft. Under the condition of proper maintenance, it will serve its owners for generations without any signs of wear. Silk-blend rugs are absolutely unmatched in terms of the softness and luster of the pile while natural wool is a guarantee of long-lasting durability and suppleness. Realizing the value of these noble natural fibers as well as the perfection that stems from traditional craft, Doris Leslie Blau uses the lore of ancient weavers for making our modern and custom rugs. Doris Leslie Blau carries an exceptional collection of original modern rugs in many styles and materials.
