Shaped like a teardrop, this Moroccan-style chubby-belly lantern brings striking ambiance to any setting. With a semi-circular profile and intricate lattice-work walls, it offers peek-a-boo glimpses of glimmering candlelight — ideal for use with wax candles or flickering LED tea lights and votives.
Light up the walls: the pierced metalwork casts mesmerizing shadow patterns across any room, each one reminiscent of abstract flowers blooming in candlelight.
Don't mind the breeze: the glass sleeve shields the candle flame from drafts, so it keeps burning steady whether you're set up on a covered patio or by an open window.
Bask in the glow and entertain in style, indoors or out.
Handcrafted of iron and finished with a white rubbed pale patina over an antique gold finish, this lantern is noticeably larger than standard teardrop styles — a true statement piece rather than a small accent. A glass sleeve fits inside the rim, and a hook at the top allows for a hanging option.
Wider than it is high, this candle lantern measures 8.75" L x 7.75" W x 13.75" H, and weighs 1 lb (22 x 20 x 35 cm, 500 grams). Excluding the hook, the rise of the teardrop is 11 inches (30 cm), and the diameter of the candle holder within is 4 inches. Candles no wider than 3.5 inches (9 cm) are ideally suited to fit in the glass sleeve.
Designed for easy living and years of enjoyment, this eye-catching lantern is beautiful for relaxed entertaining both inside and out.
Always a welcome gift.
