Over 4 months with 8 cooks on it. Live in the southern states. Assembly was easy and manageable for one person. 20 degree difference left to right. The PID controller is excellent, maintaining 5 degree swings from set temperature. Probes are accurate from where they are placed. Wheel locks work well. LOVE the pull out shelves. The only negative is the WIFI and app. WiFi signal drops intermittently and the app will lock up on popular cookout holidays/days. This can be a real bummer if you are trying to rely on it.. Have contacted customer support and they responded with more questions but after 2 returned phone messages and three reply emails they are not responding. So far not impressed with customer service. I've owned my Broil King Pellet for several years and have tried my friend's low-cost smokers and they simply don't compare. The quality difference in the Broil King is superior, I get a reliable cook each time and haven't had any issues. Other reviews mention auger jams but this can be avoided by not overfilling with pellets and removing your excess pellets after cooking - I have friends who run into auger jams on their smokers and its because they forget that the auger is already half loaded from their last cook. I've owned my Broil King Pellet for several years and have tried my friend's low-cost smokers and they simply don't compare. The quality difference in the Broil King is superior, I get a reliable cook each time and haven't had any issues. Other reviews mention auger jams but this can be avoided by not overfilling with pellets and removing your excess pellets after cooking - I have friends who run into auger jams on their smokers and its because they forget that the auger is already half loaded from their last cook.
