Mini Plastic Pet Gates

I really love this gate. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is I wish it were a little taller. My cats figured out how to jump over it (straight from the ground), so I wish it were a little taller. We added a cardboard topper as a work around.. Jordyn. New Port Richey, FL. Fri Sep 18 2026

One gate, two jobs: keep the baby out of trouble and let the cat come and go. This metal safety gate mounts pressure-style in stairways, hallways, and doorways from 29.5" to 44.1" wide — no tools, no drilling, about 10 minutes from box to done. A built-in 7.8" x 10.2" pet door with its own safety latch lets cats and small pets pass freely while your little one stays on the safe side. The walk-through door opens in both directions and closes itself automatically — and if you're carrying an armful of laundry, it locks open at 90°. The double-lock release (press the bottom switch while lifting the top) is designed to be tricky for small fingers but effortless for adults, and the all-steel frame stands up to real-life bumps: up to 210N of force when hardware mounted, 150N pressure mounted. Need a wider fit? Extension kits (+10cm / +20cm) stretch the gate from 29.5" all the way to 44.1". From the top of the stairs to the kitchen doorway, one gate covers every danger zone in the house.

I strongly suggest getting this for your pet gate. I feel they really help protect the wall and banister from damage against the gate pressure. Sarah. Puslinch, ON. Wed May 20 2026

Ordered several extensions to cover about 160" in my living room. They go on easy and are very sturdy. One floor hard plastic cup was missing so I just left off the one closest to the wall since it's screwed into the wall for support. I would purchase this again and recommend it to a friend..
