Brown Medium Size Chicken Coops

This chicken house with a ramp & a large living house & 6 nesting boxes. It is constructed of high-quality solid Fir wood. All timber is T&G plained to avoid splintering. All joints are mortise and tenon, 2 x access doors for easily catching your pets. Come, model comes with a rear zinc pull-out tray for easy cleaning.

Great coop! Large and roomy! Easy to put together. The only two complaints are the latches for the doors are not the greatest. We ended up replacing them. We bought this for 8 Duccles. And the nesting boxes are small if you put the dividers in. It gives you 3 nesting boxes on both sides. But you can easily take out the dividers and just have one large nesting box on each side. I think a regular size chicken would find it difficult to nest with the dividers in. The wood seems to be good quality. I like the top screens for ventilation. It has two doors but we will only use the ramp door. I love it overall.. Tamara. College Station, TX. Wed Oct 21 2026

Give your chickens a safe, spacious, and movable home. Whether you’re rearranging the yard or providing shelter from the elements, this hen house keeps your poultry dry, comfortable, and secure. It is a little small for 4 chickens, but it arrived with no damage and was fairly easy to assemble. Took 2 of us less than hour. Didn't use the wheels as I am going to put it in one place and not move it around. To use as a tractor would definitely not be big enough for 4 chickens. Not sure how long it will last, but it does the job.. Russ George. Steamboat Springs, CO. Mon Jun 08 2026

Easily portable with wheels on, this house is designed with a living room for sleeping, and a pen downstairs. All timber is T&G plained to avoid splintering. All joints are mortise and tenon. 2 x access doors on both levels. The spray wire is solid and non-toxic in case your animals like to chew.

Pretty solid, might need two people for some of the set up. We have 4 chicks right now in it. Added our own locks that were more sturdy.. Michelle. Chicago, IL. Sat Jul 25 2026

This PawHut poultry pen allows you to expand rather than replace your current chicken coop when you need more room. It offers a convenient linkable design that can merge two together. With climate-safe materials, you can avoid unhealthy ingredients and treat your animal home with care while protecting the planet we live on.

Needed a space for my chicks after hatching that was spacious and could transition with them during a 6 week grow out phase. I really liked this. I like the side door access that opens readily into the space and is wide enough to get in. I like the height that allowed for me to hang a heat conduction lamp on the inside instead of sitting one on top of the wired roof. I did have to reinforce the top with wider wood panel frame to better support the wire mesh top otherwise if a cat jumped on top I wouldn't have been suprised if there wouldn't have been issues with wire integrity given that the frame is pretty simple. I added the styrefoam from the packaging as siding to prevent breeze and contain some of the chick bedding. Cats liked it too =). Christina. Bellevue, WA. Wed Jul 08 2026

If you want to make your chickens happy or rest when going out, the exercise toys we have prepared for the hens in the chicken coop are the perfect choice. They will have enough space to spread their wings while playing and relaxing on the chicken swing. The top platform is designed to allow them to climb higher, rather than playing on the ground. The product is equipped with a sturdy spruce frame and sturdy base, so your hen is safe to play, relax, and peck on it.

Sturdy. Not as tall and long as I thought it would be. Instructions could have some written instructions, so I struggled somewhat. I will be getting a heavier link chain for the swing. The string they provided is flimsy and doesnt hold the wood straight. The one im using now is too stretchy. I added some toys to it also. I think my chickens are going to like it.. Marsha. Smaller than what is projected in the picture, but true to size of the dimensions that were provided. Some of the pieces came in damaged, such as the corners of the two nest box lift doors on the sides that are not intact and will need to be repaired. Not a setup I would leave uncovered / exposed to the elements as the materials are thinner / less sturdy than expected for something to house animals. Also, you might be able to roost a couple of chickens in this, but not more than 2 comfortably.. Anonymous. Texas. Fri Apr 10 2026

I bought this as a starter coop and I’m in love with it. The directions weren’t as detailed as I’d like. It’s not high quality at all but it’s fine for what I need. It’s also two identical coops so you do have to swap the sides of some boards if you want them both front facing but it was simple to do. Followed with stain and sealer and I think it will last quite awhile before I need to upgrade to something bigger!. Michelle. Sat Apr 06 2024
