Quick delivery and very easy to put together. Followed the directions and within 20 minutes had it up and ready for the cats to climb on. UPDATE: My cat absolutely loves this cat tree, so I’m adding stars to my review. Her opinion matters too, since she’s the one using it! The cat tree is heavy, sturdy (if against a wall and on a flat surface) and it looks good, but there are a number of major design flaws. 1) The second and third platforms are exactly the same size, so the cat can’t jump from one to the other; the cat has to jump 32” from the floor to the third platform, and repeat that when she comes down, because there is no interim step. 2) The tube is closed on one end. In my case that doesn’t work because it would’ve been nice if she could sit in there and look out the window. 3) there is no access to anywhere else from the tube except to the floor. 4) The platform below the top perch is too small for comfortable jump. You can see in my first picture how my cat has to contort herself to make the jump. She’s a year old and very athletic, but it could’ve been designed better. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize these things until I had thrown away the box, etc., but I regret purchasing this cat tree. I’m sorry to have to say that, but it’s true. It's a very cute tree and fairly easy to put together but it ended up being wobbly no matter how much I tightened the screws. The flower is more of a step than an area for any adult cat to sleep on. The basket though is fine. Neither of my cats would sleep in the soft hanging basket on the side as the whole tree would likely tip. This tree is really best suited for kittens and very small cats. My 12 and 14 lb cats would not play on this. But I am adopting an 8 lb cat that is fully grown and she will probably like it. But it's not very stable because the two poles that you put together on the left hand side do not tighten properly and it makes the whole tree wobbly. Cute but not a winner.. Carey. New York, NY. When I opened the box I was worried they'd sent me the wrong color because instead of actually being green, the platforms are red with little green cushions to place on top.
