Overall what we expected from the price.. good for 4-6 max hens as described, however, would not trust construction with a big rooster due to quality and thickness of panels. Easy assembly, good instructions, all parts intact, good packaging.. Tom. Kerrville, TX. Thu May 21 2026

Give your chickens a safe and comfortable outdoor home with this wooden chicken coop. Made of solid fir wood with a non-toxic finish, it features a waterproof asphalt roof, ventilated side windows, a removable pull-out tray, and a nesting box for easy egg laying. The built-in ramp allows chickens to move comfortably between areas, while the compact design fits well in backyards, patios, and garden spaces.

Easy to put together, parts are labeled, directions good. I only had to redo the hinges on lid, placing them somewhat higher than I had them in order for lid to close properly. Added an automatic door, the coop is spacious for my five hens, the roosting bars stay seated. I stapled two layers of strong plastic to roof for easy cleaning as they like to sit up there. The only part a little tricky was placement of the hinge on the left for roof, I wish the screw holes were marked better. I also set the coop on patio stones to protect the fir legs, the hens go under there sometimes.. Virginia. Tue Sep 15 2026

Smaller than what is projected in the picture, but true to size of the dimensions that were provided. Some of the pieces came in damaged, such as the corners of the two nest box lift doors on the sides that are not intact and will need to be repaired. Not a setup I would leave uncovered / exposed to the elements as the materials are thinner / less sturdy than expected for something to house animals. Also, you might be able to roost a couple of chickens in this, but not more than 2 comfortably.. Anonymous. Texas. Fri Apr 10 2026

Made of galvanized metal frame and have a beam in the middle to ensure its stability. The outdoor pet enclosures playpen is made of iron with anti-rust coating on each wire to prevent rust, extend service life and reduce wear and tear during use. Chicken cage pens crate have 4 door openings. There is also enough space for children to come in and interact with their pets. There is a ground stake on each side of the six corners and a beam in the middle to ensure its stability. UV Protection Cover is silver-white polyester coat providing your pet with sun, rain, wind protection and safe crossing even but don't keep a lot of the rain out.

Great little chicken pen For the most part easy to put together however when you do put in some of the ground poles they seem to bend like what is shown. Also the netting it comes with is chicken mesh- if you will use this daily I would advise adding more secure fencing to it as other animals can get into the fence it came with. Kate. Kalamazoo, MI. Our metal chicken coop is designed for small to medium-sized animals such as chickens, ducks, puppies, rabbits, and more. Whether you have chickens or ducks, this sturdy and spacious cage provides a safe home for your animals. Animals can walk freely. Our chicken coop is made of durable galvanized steel, ensuring that they can withstand years of use and exposure to the elements. The coated hexagonal wire mesh provides optimal ventilation to keep even the most aggressive predators at bay. Our coop also comes with lockable doors so you can rest easy knowing your chickens are safe at all times.

I like the metal coop. The door handle I never did figure-out. I used bungies and that worked fine. There are some procedures but for the last bit of it. The tarp is an inch short around the edges and the bar supporting the coop will buckle if you have a lot of rain (need a draining plan). I think I am going to rig some roof panel to funnel off the rain. Its light and I can move it around, chickens can make a mess and now they are sitting in water. The extra tarps and what-not are to help secure from predators, weather (1st picture) and last night's storm (2nd picture). Chickens safe in their coop, now I'll put it all back after storm and continue to make better. I know I still need actual building for my chickens to be winter and racoon/coyote proof, which I can attach this to and keep using it.. Juliee. Pueblo West, CO. Sun Mar 16 2025
