It has a foam mattress wrapped in poly-fiber for extra softness. The mattress is covered in its own "Faux-Suede", a machine washable cover with a three-sided zipper for easy removal.

I bought this so my dog can jump onto the bed, the only complaint I have is that there are 7 slats which requires 2 screws one for each side and they only give you 8 screws. Also there are no predrilled holes to screw the slats down.. Susan. Mesquite Nv. Mon Jan 25 2021

Durability meets luxury with our crate pads. These plush, velvety topped covers come with a unique tie-down system. This allows you to attach the crate pad directly to your metal crate, keeping your dog from flipping the pad over inside the kennel, and preventing the majority of damage that dogs do to their crate pads. The sides and base are constructed of abrasion-resistant material and a premium water-resistant liner comes included. The crate and kennel pads come with a Certi-Pur US certified orthopedic foam that offers your pup a supportive and safe resting place. The cover and liner are machine washable and stain, odor and mildew resistant. You and your pup will fall in love with the quality, exceptional American workmanship, and ultimate comfort.

After 4 days my 130lb Great Dane chewed the Velcro straps off, as well as the zipper. I removed the plastic tray from crate and attached the extra straps I got from them and so far so good! Hope it stays intact.. Jessica. Shakopee, MN. Mon Jul 06 2020

Our big 73 lb, tall & long, Kali girl has become quite fond of her bed. She now overlooks her lumpy & unsupportive cheap bed & knows new bed is hers where she can stretch out or curl up. This is a good bed for support & comfort & I am so glad we spent the extra money & got this classy & highly functional L-bolster bed. I’ve even laid in it with her. Verrrry comfortable & I could have been asleep in it if I had stayed much longer.. Kristin. Orlando, FL. Mon May 17 2021

Just received this bed today. We had ordered another by Tucker Murphy almost 4 years ago. It has done us very well, but our Dane is almost 11, and has had some accidents on it. This one comes with a waterproof zipper cover under the top cover, which also unzips and is washable. (The waterproof cover is ONLY hand-wash and air dry, FYI) I think the photo speaks for itself; our Selah gives this bed a 4 paws up!. Michelle. Clark, SD. Sat May 31 2025
