I love how open it is. I kind of wish this one came with the step. Im not sure if the cats would use it, though. I already have one, and it has the front opening. My cats are both good size. This ones a little bit easier. I think for cats to go in and out of. Im not sure how long the bottom piece will last as it seems to be more material than hard plastic. I have had this now for about a month and I love it. I plan on getting another one and replacing the other one as they use this one most often. The other is the typical small opening and the waste draw is small and always needs to be adjusted as nothing falls forward and I can't find the right size bags, no company to order supplies from.. As I was in the planning phase of transforming my cat room into an improved space for 6 of my cats that reside there, I came upon this litter box furniture. I had already decided to purchase a climbing cabinet through Wayfair and determined that this product would complement it perfectly. Since there were two open litter boxes (and a covered one) in the cat room, my goal was to decrease even the slight odor present. Not only does this piece of furniture fit the bill for that, but it is beautiful, sturdy, and the cats immediately knew what purpose it served! Ive been using this for a few weeks and so far so good. Its been an adjustment for the cats because the motor scares them a little. But theyve come around one by one. The set up was very easy. We have two cats and have three regular litter boxes for them to use. We wanted to add an automatic one so it would be less work for us to keep clean. I was worried about how loud it would be and that my cats would not use it, but so far that has not been an issue. Set up was easy and the accessories that are provided are helpful.
