I was a little skeptical about the measurements. Surprisingly, my 142lb Great Dane is in love. It does sit low to the ground making it very easy to climb on without shifting the sofa. I wish the depth were a little deeper. But, my fur baby is happy, which makes me happy! Now that he has his own sofa in the family room with us.... My sofa is taking a well deserved vacation!!!!!!
