I thought it was nearly perfect in the design but I think one of the attributes is not ideal. The hammock in the middle is kinda low to the platform below it, making it kinda difficult for the cat the get from the platform to the left of the hammock to the next one, slightly higher on the right. I wish the hammock was a board or higher up. Other than that, it’s really good. My friend and me built it in under an hour. I got it because it’s just about 18” below the tops of my kitchen cabinets. So she can climb the tower then traverse the cabinet tops. I have been thinking about removing the hammock and replacing it with a board. We shall see. I ordered 2 of these cat trees as replacements for my tribe. At first sight, I didn’t think they were going to be the right size as the box they arrived in was small and I have large cats. Upon opening, we found the product was only meticulously packed and everything looked fine. Even though my cats seem to love their new trees, I question the durability of this product. It seems as if the boards and posts are quite thin and that concerns me. I’m not saying they are cheaply made, but I do remember having several more durable cat trees over the years. Only time and use will determine the quality of this product. The material on this tree is extremely thin and I’m sure it will meet its demise before it’s time. I hope I am mistaken and they will last for a while though. Only time will tell. The trees DO although have many levels to perch in and two large cubbies where they can hide or sleep. These cubbies are actually pretty large and my cats are very comfortable in them. The price point was great as I was able to catch them on sale. This is a nice, tall cat tree with a lot of different places for cats to climb, scratch, and lounge. At over 70 inches tall, it gives cats a great vertical space to explore. The many perches make it easy for them to move up and down the tower. My cat is a large, 16-pound boy with a pretty big frame, so I was initially concerned that the enclosed condos might be too small for him. But he was able to get into both of them comfortably and clearly enjoys having the cozy hideaways. The openings looked small at first glance, but they work fine even for a bigger cat. The structure feels sturdy and stable once assembled, and the sisal-covered posts and ramp give plenty of scratching surfaces. The gray covering is more like a soft blanket than carpet and looks nice in the room. My box didn’t come with printed assembly instructions. I was able to pull up the product photo online and use that as a guide, and the pieces were straightforward enough that it wasn’t difficult to figure out.
